Volunteers
We welcome volunteers in any capacity. Parents are welcome to assist in the classroom, changing home readers, canteen uniform shop, returning lost property, working with teachers and children in the various club activities and programs (gardening, chess, Lego, and any others you may care to suggest or recommend to us).
Parents who think they may volunteer at the school are required to fill in a volunteering in school form and return this to the Front Office. We ask that you sign in at the Front Office, near the Library, and at each preschool. Volunteers attending more than seven times over a year are also required to apply for a “Working with Vulnerable People Card”. Application forms for this are available at Access Canberra. There is no cost for this card for volunteers.
